PILATES AT AIRLIE FITNESS

We are blessed to have developed 2 of our experienced Personal Trainers into fully qualified Matwork and Reformer Pilates Instructors. 

Pilates is included in our Fitness Center Membership, and therfore free for Members at this stage. Bookings are essential via our Airlie Fitness App or Recption. We offer pIlates and Reformer Pilates at both Cannonvale and Proserpine Clubs.

Reformer Pilates 

Regular participation in reformer Pilates offers numerous physical and mental benefits: 

  • Improved Core Strength and Posture: It targets deep stabilizing muscles around your spine and pelvis, which helps correct postural imbalances and reduce back pain.

  • Enhanced Flexibility and Mobility: The guided, controlled movements help increase your range of motion and gently lengthen muscles.

  • Low-Impact Workout: The machine provides support and resistance, making it gentle on the joints and suitable for those recovering from injuries or seeking a safe yet challenging workout.

  • Full-Body Toning and Endurance: Exercises engage multiple muscle groups simultaneously, building lean muscle tone and stamina without adding bulk.

  • Mind-Body Connection: The focus on precise movements and controlled breathing promotes mindfulness, reduces stress, and boosts mental clarity. 

Matwork Pilates

  • Mat Pilates: Uses primarily your body weight for resistance on a floor mat.

  • Reformer Pilates: Uses a machine with a sliding carriage and adjustable springs to add or reduce resistance, allowing for a wider range of motion, more exercise variations, and greater intensity.

HIIT AF  is your 45 minute HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING workout. It's FUNCTIONAL and full of the movements you love making use of the extensive range of equipment in our Functional Zone. Its all about Motivation, Movement and Intensity!

HIIT AF AGILITY is all about functional movement with intensity. Core, cardio, speed, power, endurance and commitment will all be pushed to your limits in this class!

HIIT AF CARDIO is cardio training using our functional space and a huge array of equipment to get the movement and the intensity you need for results. Motivating music and a positive group vibe!

MetaPwr HIIT classes

MetaPWR is a resistance workout combining bodyweight and weighted compound exercises with little rest to maximise calorie burn and increase metabolic rate during and after the workout.

R30 Spin Classes

R30 is your 30-minute cardio workout. Music will make the time fly, and you will feel great working up a sweat! You can make the most out of R30, no matter if you are just starting an exercise program or have been racing bikes for years. It’s only 30 minutes and the format is easy to follow. Since the bike is completely adjustable, you are in control. It’s also perfect for those that are short on time and men and women of all ages

Group Power the best Pump class

Group Power combines traditional strength exercises with the hottest functional training moves to make you fitter and stronger. High-rep training, athletic movements, and a periodized training approach are key components of this results-driven workout. Add to this dynamic and motivational music and it simply is the most fun you’ll have strength training.

Group Active

Group Active is perfect if you are new to exercise or have not exercised in a long time. Also ideal for the super busy and fit who need to get it all - cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility. 

Group Blast

Group Blast is a great cardio alternative to walking, running, or stair climbing because you will do it all: walk, jog, run, jump, plyometrics, balance drills, lateral drills, and quickness drills – all on and off The STEP – to exciting energetic music. With the many exercise options and the adjustability of The STEP, intensity is easily managed so anyone, from new to exercise to an athlete in training, will feel successful.

Group Core

Group Core strengthens everything from your shoulders to your hips to make you stronger, quicker, and faster in all you do. In addition, strengthening your core can reduce back pain and give you great looking abs! It’s quick, challenging and like nothing else.
